How to burn incense?
Frankincense is a natural resin extracted from the bark of trees found in arid areas of the Arabian Peninsula. The resin secretions that have been scraped from the bark shreds harden on contact with air and solidify into grains. According to ancient traditions, other resins or essential oils are added to release characteristic scents.

Burning incense is a very ancient ritual common to many religions.

The clear, fragrant smoke that rises from the censer soothes us and puts us in good conditions to pray, meditate or relax.
In church, incense is used to incense the altar, the cross, the Gospel or even the assembly. It can also be used during processions or funerals.
How to burn grain incense?
What you need:
a censer
It is preferable to use a censer and not a plate or other container in order to burn the incense safely.
a piece of coal
They come in different sizes and packaging.

a match/lighter
- place the charcoal using the charcoal tongs on the grate of your censer. If your censer does not have a grate, you can place the coal in the bottom of it.
- light the charcoal with a match or lighter and wait until it is hot
- place a few grains on the coal
- the smells will start to diffuse

How to burn stick incense?
- Choose an incense holder
- Light the end of the incense stick using a lighter or match
- When the ember appears, place the stick in the incense holder. The part that is not lit is placed in the hole of the censer.
- After a few seconds, white smoke will rise and diffuse the odor.
- Let the incense stick burn completely
