The young couple will take up this challenge with dynamism and courage, ensuring the good management and development of the business, which then bears the name “Procure”.

In 1959, they decided to found their own structure. The company “Bel-Art” was then created. In 1967 the store was moved to the site's main esplanade, a location we have occupied continuously since then. The commercial activity of the Bel-Art company will continue to grow, allowing the company to quadruple its commercial surface area over the years. The last expansion of the store, carried out in 2000, allows the Bel-Art store to be among the largest stores in Europe dedicated to religious and liturgical articles.

At the same time, the Bel-Art company also has a service dedicated to professionals which is now among the most renowned in the Benelux. Thanks to this dual activity, the company now has a product range of more than 40,000 items. Among these, let us mention novena candles, medals, crosses, incense, bibles, liturgical articles, nativity scenes, santons of Provence...

Over the years, Jean and Catherine Depuis have surrounded themselves with others to develop their business: their two sons, Francis and Christian, as well as their daughters-in-law, Brigitte and Marie-Hélène, joined them during the 80s and 90s, allowing the Bel-art company to continue its development. During the last ten years, the third generation has also become involved in the company with the arrival of Frédéric, Emilie and Jean-Michel. Furthermore, the growth of the company would not have been possible without the collaboration of our numerous collaborators, some of whom have been with the company for several decades.
